Bitcoin at 89bet: two kinds of volatility in one session
Bitcoin works differently from every other method in a cashier for one reason: its price moves. A card payment or a bank transfer carries a fixed amount of money from start to finish, while a Bitcoin deposit can be worth more or less by the time it is credited, and more or less again by the time a withdrawal arrives. Add the volatility of the games themselves and a session contains two separate sources of swing, which is worth understanding before the first transfer.
How a Bitcoin deposit works
In the deposit tab on the operator's site, choose Bitcoin. The cashier displays a receiving address, usually with a QR code. Many cashiers generate a fresh address for each deposit, so copy it anew each time rather than reusing an old one from your wallet history. Send from a wallet you control, keep the transaction hash, and wait for the network to confirm. Available methods and limits depend on your account — check the cashier.
Confirmations, briefly
A transaction is confirmed once it is included in a block; each further block added on top counts as another confirmation. The cashier decides how many confirmations it waits for before crediting the deposit. Blocks arrive at irregular intervals, so the wait varies from one transfer to the next, and a public block explorer shows exactly where your transaction stands at any moment.
The network fee is set by your wallet
Unlike a card payment, the sender chooses the fee. Your wallet suggests one based on how busy the network is; a lower fee can leave the transaction waiting longer for a block, a higher one costs more. The fee goes to the network, not to the operator, and it applies to withdrawals too — when the operator sends Bitcoin to you, the cashier shows whether a network charge is deducted from the amount.
Withdrawing Bitcoin
A withdrawal asks for your receiving address. Bitcoin addresses commonly start with 1, 3 or bc1; paste yours from the wallet and compare the first and last characters before confirming, because a transfer to a wrong address cannot be recalled. Use a wallet in your own control or an exchange account in your own name. Crypto does not remove the operator's checks: the first withdrawal normally follows identity verification, as explained in the withdrawal guide.
Budgeting with a coin that moves
The simplest discipline is to set the session budget in the account currency and ignore the coin price until the session is over. If the bankroll is meant to cover a few hundred spins on an extreme-volatility slot such as Mental 2, price movement on top of game variance can shorten or stretch the session in ways that have nothing to do with play. Players who want crypto without the price risk often prefer a stablecoin; the USDT guide explains how that works.
Mistakes that are hard to undo
Three errors account for most lost Bitcoin payments: a mistyped or swapped address, sending from an exchange that does not allow transfers to gambling services, and trusting an address shown anywhere other than the cashier itself. Malware that replaces a copied address in the clipboard is real, which is why comparing the characters after pasting matters. No legitimate cashier will ever ask for your wallet's recovery phrase.
